Summary:

The sales team is looking for a new member to join our winning team. The Account Manager position has a crucial role focused on developing the future growth strategy in the Southern USA region. The ideal candidate will demonstrate industry leading outside sales management skills and is responsible for maximizing revenue by creating, managing, and implementing best in class sales development activities to maximize growth. This position will require collaboration with our engineering and operations teams to help provide solutions for our customers. This role will be a home-based sales position with frequent travel.

Schedule:

  • The schedule follows normal business hours, with extra work hours when required.
  • Travel to Certarus and customer locations in the Southern USA and to Canada is expected, a valid passport is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve volume and margin sales targets for compressed natural gas to key Oil & Gas operators.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with pressure pumpers in pursuit of forming strategic partnership to provide CNG to their operation and maintain market insight.
  • Work closely with existing sales staff to optimize billing efficiencies and decrease DSO’s.
  • Work closely with operations and support functions to recommend solutions that best fit customer requirements.
  • Understand negotiations and profitability analysis processes.
  • Utilize Salesforce for job execution and other platforms for activity forecasting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or commensurate experience
  • +5 years of experience in a related role preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pressure pumping operations and sales.
  • Candidates will need a strong industry rolodex with key target accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability in identifying and supporting the development and delivery of new products.
  • Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment requiring relationship development.
  • Experience developing and implementing a pricing strategy.
  • Experience in negotiating contract terms, i.e., T&Cs, NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, etc.
